Our gearbox systems for turboprop engines
We began manufacturing gearboxes for turboprop aircraft engines in the 1970s. For more than 50 years, we have been continuously developing our expertise in the manufacture of reduction gearboxes (RGB) and accessory gearboxes (AGB).
Our production is characterised by high-precision small-batch manufacturing and assembly, which meets the most stringent aviation standards for quality, reliability and safety. An integral part of our services is also the provision of overhauls and comprehensive lifecycle management for these key components.
Reduction gearboxes
A key competitive advantage is the high degree of vertical integration in production. We manufacture most of the components for complete gearbox assembly in-house, which gives us full control over quality, precision and delivery times.
We source spare parts exclusively from certified suppliers who comply with aviation standards.
The assembly process is supported by continuous quality control and testing at every stage of production. Every product undergoes thorough testing in accordance with strict aviation standards, ensuring maximum reliability in operation.
Gearboxes
In the manufacture of gearboxes, we utilise advanced technologies for precision five-axis CNC machining, which ensure maximum geometric accuracy of the functional surfaces and bores of the castings.
We primarily work with high-quality aluminium and magnesium alloys, optimised for aerospace applications in terms of strength, weight and durability.
We manufacture gears and shafts in-house, including heat treatment and surface finishing. This comprehensive approach enables us to achieve the highest standards of quality and long-term operational reliability.
Accessory gearboxes
The manufacture of gearboxes for driving turboprop engine assemblies is based on the same technological principles as the manufacture of reduction gearboxes.
We manufacture key components using our own technologies, which we have developed over many years, and source certified parts from trusted partners.

Our turboprop engine experience
M601 engine
The M601 engine became an icon of Czech aviation. It powered the L-410 Turbolet and required highly reliable gearbox systems. From the outset, we have supplied key components, both RGB and AGB, and handled their entire production, assembly and testing.
Thanks to vertical integration of production and rigorous quality control, we have been able to guarantee maximum precision and reliability. Our role also included overhauls and upgrades, which extended the service life of the engines and maintained their operational efficiency.
H80 series
With the upgraded H80 series, we built on the experience gained from the M601 and played an active role in innovating the gearbox systems. Our components are optimised for higher performance, lower weight and long-term operational reliability.
We manufacture key components using our own in-house facilities, providing precision CNC machining, heat treatment and surface finishing, as well as quality control at every stage of the assembly process. Overhauls and maintenance support form part of our ongoing care for these engines, ensuring their long-term reliability in demanding aviation operations.
